Service Description

Phlebotomy Technician Program (Hybrid Format) The Phlebotomy Technician Program is a 40-hour hybrid training program designed to prepare students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to perform blood collection procedures in healthcare settings. This program combines live virtual instruction (Zoom) with in-person skills practice and clinical stick scheduling. ⸻ Program Length 40 Clock Hours Total ⸻ Program Schedule Live Virtual Instruction (Zoom) June 6, 2026 – June 20, 2026 Mondays & Thursdays | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM 20 Instructional Hours All lecture-based instruction will be delivered live via Zoom with real-time instructor interaction. ⸻ In-Person Skills & Clinical Practice Students are required to complete 20 hours of hands-on skills training, including venipuncture (“sticks”). * Skills sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays * Students will complete their required venipuncture (“sticks”) during these scheduled weekend sessions * Students are required to bring 2–4 individuals to serve as live practice patients for their sticks * All hands-on training is completed in person * Skills are reviewed and verified by the instructor Hands-On Skills Training Hours: 20 Hours ⸻ Total Program Hours * 20 Live Virtual Instruction Hours * 20 In-Person Skills Training Hours * 40 Total Clock Hours All lab and clinical practice hours count toward the required program total. ⸻ Enrollment Requirement An enrollment appointment is required before registering for the Phlebotomy Technician Program. These fees are charged by the payment processor and are not applied toward tuition balances.
