Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician Program at Jacobs Medical Academy is a 12-week, 60-hour training program that prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist licensed pharmacists in providing safe and effective patient care. Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in healthcare by supporting medication preparation, distribution, and patient education. Students in this program learn how to assist with preparing and dispensing medications, process prescriptions, handle insurance billing, perform dosage calculations, and maintain accurate patient and medication records while following pharmacy law and regulations. The program also covers customer service and professional communication to ensure graduates are workforce ready. Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) exam. Program Cost
Total Tuition: $3,000
High School Diploma or GED:
A High School Diploma or GED is required to take this program.
Deposit:
A $550 non-refundable deposit is required to enroll and secure your seat in the Pharmacy Technician program.
At checkout, students will have the option to:

Uniforms:
Jacobs Medical Academy provides 1 set of uniforms to all enrolled students as part of the program requirements. Students will receive their uniforms directly from the school prior to the first day of class.
Non-Refundable Items:
Enrollment deposit, Tuition payments, NHA exam, and NHA study materials.
NHA Exam:
Eligible graduates (tuition paid in full + program passed + HS diploma/GED) receive 1 NHA exam covered by the school ($129 value).
Graduation Items:
Upon successful completion of the program and a zero tuition balance, students will receive:
