Student Loan Financing

​

Qualified applicants may be eligible to start school with no enrollment deposit through our student loan partner. Loan approval is based on the lender’s requirements and is not guaranteed. Choose Student Loan Appointment for this option.

How to Get Started​​

​

Enroll today by paying your $25 enrollment deposit. Your first tuition payment is due the first week of class. Payments will be scheduled on ACH draft. ​Processing Fees are not apart of your tuition.

Finish Debt-Free Financing: 

​​​

Graduate debt-free with Jacobs Medical Academy’s in-house financing option. This payment plan is designed so your tuition is paid in full by your last day of class.

Students who choose this option will pay a higher enrollment deposit, and their weekly or bi-weekly payments will be adjusted to ensure their tuition balance is paid in full by the completion of the program.

Please Note: Students with an outstanding tuition balance at the end of their program will not receive a Certificate of Completion, participate in Graduation, participate in the Graduation Photo Shoot, or be referred for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam until their tuition balance has been paid in full.​

​

A $568.70 non-refundable enrollment deposit is required to start this plan and will be applied toward your tuition.

​

The remaining tuition balance of $1,264 is due on the first day of class. If the remaining balance is not paid in full on the first day of class, students must enroll in automatic ACH payments.

Please Note: Our ACH payment system does not accept prepaid cards. Students must provide a valid checking account, savings account, or eligible debit card for automatic recurring payments.

​

Until the tuition balance has been paid in full, students will not:

​

• Receive a Certificate of Completion.

• Be eligible to schedule or take the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) National Certification Exam.

• Be eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

• Be eligible to participate in the Graduation Photo Shoot.

​

We also accept Klarna and Afterpay for students who qualify.

​

This program is available in two learning formats: Fully In-Person or Clinical Online, allowing students to choose the option that best fits their schedule and learning needs.

​

Clinical Online Option Meaning: 

The classroom portion of this program is completed entirely online, allowing students to learn from any location. After successfully completing the online coursework, students are responsible for securing an approved healthcare facility or clinical site to complete a minimum of 40 documented blood collections under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. Jacobs Medical Academy reviews and verifies all required clinical documentation before issuing a Certificate of Completion.

High School Diploma or GED

​

A high school diploma or GED is not required to enroll in the Phlebotomy Technician program. However, it is required for graduates who wish to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) national certification exam.

Uniforms

​

Jacobs Medical Academy provides program uniforms to all enrolled students. Uniforms are distributed on the first day of class.

National Certification Exam

​

National Certification Exam Eligibility

Students who successfully complete the program with an overall grade of 70% or higher and provide proof of a high school diploma or GED will be referred to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam.

​

The national certification exam fee is not included in tuition because eligibility to take the exam is based on successful program completion and meeting NHA eligibility requirements. Students who do not successfully complete the program or who do not possess a high school diploma or GED are not eligible to take the national certification exam.

Students who successfully complete the program and meet all eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to purchase the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam after they have been officially notified that they have passed the program.

Current NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam Fee: $134 (subject to change by NHA).

Graduation

​

Students who successfully complete the program and have a zero tuition balance are eligible to receive:

• Graduation ceremony participation
• Professional graduation photoshoot with two professionally edited digital photographs

Graduation items and photos are provided by Jacobs Medical Academy at no additional cost for eligible graduates.

SC Works Funding/WIOA

​

Eligible students may qualify for tuition assistance through SC Works.

CPR Training

​

Community CPR classes are available for $135. Please visit our CPR section or contact our office for upcoming class dates.
