Refunds

Jacobs Medical Academy- Refund Policy

  • Jacobs Medical Academy maintains a strict Refund Policy to ensure clear expectations for all students. Please read this policy carefully, as it applies to all programs and all forms of payment, including student loans.

Non-Refundable Fees and Materials Policy

The following items are non-refundable under all circumstances, as they are purchased, processed, activated, or allocated on behalf of the student upon enrollment:

• Administrative fee

• Enrollment deposit

• NHA certification exam fees

• NHA practice tests and study guides

• NHA module products and online learning access

• Training supplies and materials

• Any third-party materials, access codes, or educational resources provided or purchased for student use

These items are considered consumed, activated, or reserved once enrollment is completed and therefore are not eligible for refund, regardless of withdrawal, dismissal, transfer, or failure to complete the program.

Enrollment Deposit (Non-Refundable)

  • All enrollment deposits are completely non-refundable, under all circumstances.

  • The deposit secures a seat in the program, covers administrative processing, and removes that seat from public availability.

72-Hour Cancellation Window (Required for Students With Student Loans)

  • Students who choose Student Financing (student loans) must follow this cancellation process:

  • To cancel your student loan, you must email the school at least 72 hours before the start of class stating you will not be attending.

  • The email must be sent before the 72-hour deadline

  • The email must clearly state that the student is requesting to cancel enrollment and their student loan

  • The school must receive the email before the 72-hour window closes

  • Cancellations sent on the first day of class will not be accepted.

If a student fails to cancel within the 72-hour window:

  • Their student loan will remain active

  • They will be financially responsible for the full balance

  • No refunds or loan reversals will be issued

  • This applies even if the student does not attend class or decides not to continue.

No Refunds after the Third Day of Class

Once a student complete the first 2 days of class, the student is automatically:

  • Fully responsible for the entire cost of the program

  • Locked into their student loan, which cannot be canceled

  • This policy applies to all payment types, including full-pay, partial-pay, and student loans.

Summary of Refund Policy

  • Students using student loans must cancel no later than 72 hours before class starts

  • Cancellation requests cannot be submitted on the first day of class
