Refunds

Jacobs Medical Academy maintains the following Refund and Cancellation Policy for all students and payment methods.

Three-Day Cancellation Period

Students have three (3) calendar days following their enrollment appointment to cancel their enrollment without responsibility for the full tuition. To allow students this cancellation period, Jacobs Medical Academy will not activate course access or purchase third-party educational materials until the three-day period has expired.

$350 Enrollment Deposit

A $350 enrollment deposit is required at enrollment. The enrollment deposit is applied toward the student’s required program materials and third-party educational resources, including applicable online learning accounts, access codes, training materials, study resources, and other program-related products.

Once these materials or accounts have been purchased or activated on the student’s behalf, the associated costs are nonrefundable because Jacobs Medical Academy cannot obtain a refund from the third-party providers.

Cancellation Within Three Days

Students who decide not to enroll must notify Jacobs Medical Academy within three (3) calendar days following their enrollment appointment. Students who properly cancel during this period will not be responsible for the full program tuition.

Starting Before the Three-Day Period Ends

Students may request to begin their program before the three-day cancellation period has expired. By requesting immediate access, the student understands and agrees that Jacobs Medical Academy will immediately purchase and/or activate the student’s third-party materials, accounts, course access, and educational resources.

A student who chooses to begin immediately accepts full financial responsibility for the program tuition. Once course access, student accounts, or third-party materials have been purchased or activated, no refund will be issued.

Payments Made in Full

Students who pay their tuition in full are still entitled to the three-day cancellation period before their course access and materials are activated. If a paid-in-full student requests to begin immediately rather than waiting the three days, the student accepts full responsibility for the tuition and understands that no refund will be issued once the program and third-party resources have been activated.

After the Three-Day Cancellation Period

After the three-day cancellation period expires, the student’s enrollment is considered final. The student is responsible for the full tuition and applicable program charges, regardless of whether the student subsequently withdraws, stops attending, is dismissed, or fails to complete the program. No refunds will be issued after the cancellation period.

Student Financing

Students using student loans or other third-party financing remain subject to the terms and conditions of their financing agreement in addition to Jacobs Medical Academy’s Refund and Cancellation Policy. Cancellation of enrollment does not automatically cancel or modify a financing agreement. Students are responsible for completing any cancellation requirements imposed by their financing provider.
