Job Placement

     At Jacobs Medical Academy, we are committed to preparing students with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to pursue employment in the healthcare field. Our programs combine classroom instruction, hands-on training, national certification preparation, résumé assistance upon request, and interview preparation.

     Jacobs Medical Academy does not promise or guarantee job placement. Students and graduates must complete the same application and interview process as other applicants. Each student’s circumstances are different, and employment eligibility may be affected by factors such as criminal background checks, drug screenings, employment history verification, certification requirements, schedule availability, and the employer’s individual hiring policies. The availability of suitable positions at the time of program completion must also be considered. All final hiring decisions are made solely by the employer.

     Jacobs Medical Academy has partnerships with corporations and healthcare organizations that may send us information regarding available positions, required qualifications, and specific work shifts. When we receive an employment opportunity, we may notify students or graduates whose availability matches the shifts provided by the employer. Students are responsible for applying, completing the interview process, and meeting all hiring requirements. Being notified of an opportunity does not guarantee an interview or an offer of employment.

 

     Certain programs also require an externship or clinical experience. Students who demonstrate strong skills, professionalism, dependability, and a positive work ethic during their externship may be considered for employment by the externship site if a position is available. However, an externship is an educational experience and does not guarantee employment.

     Securing a job ultimately depends on the student. Graduates are responsible for applying for positions, scheduling and attending interviews, and putting forth the effort required to obtain employment. Our role is to equip students with the education, practical skills, and preparation needed to approach employment opportunities with confidence.​

​Enrollment in or graduation from Jacobs Medical Academy—or any educational institution—does not automatically qualify or entitle an individual to employment. Employers independently evaluate each applicant based on the position’s qualifications, the applicant’s skills and experience, interview performance, background and employment history verification, schedule availability, and the employer’s hiring requirements.
