Pharmacy Technician Program An enrollment appointment is required in order to enroll into Jacobs Medical Academy. This appointment allows us to review program expectations, payment arrangements, and complete enrollment documents. The Pharmacy Technician Program prepares students to assist pharmacists with prescription processing, medication safety, pharmacy calculations, and inventory procedures. Students learn pharmacy operations, prescription terminology, medication classifications, dosage calculations, and regulatory requirements while preparing for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification exam. Program Delivery Format: Hybrid or Distance Education Program Length: 12 Weeks | 60 Clock Hours Live Instruction Tuesdays | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Hybrid Online Instruction 2 hours of structured PharmaSeer online coursework including prerecorded instruction, pharmacy modules, assignments, and instructor-guided learning activities designed to reinforce pharmacy technician concepts and exam preparation. Online Learning Schedule Online learning days students have no set schedule. Log in and complete your work anytime during the week, but all assignments must be finished by Friday @ 11:59 PM. If you have not properly uploaded these documents, please bring the following: • Driver’s License or State ID • Social Security Card • High School Diploma / GED / High School Transcript (Optional) ————— Total Program Cost: $3,000 Tuition & Payment Options • $550 Enrollment Deposit (applied toward tuition; non-refundable) • $300 due first day of class Payment Plan Options • 11 Weekly Payments — $195.45 each • 6 Bi-Weekly Payments — $358.34 each A 3.4% processing fee applies to online or card payments. Processing fees are charged by the payment processor and are not applied toward tuition balances. Please be prepared to set up auto draft at your enrollment appointment. ***Computer Lab Access for Online & Hybrid Students Students enrolled in online or hybrid programs may attend the school Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM to utilize school computers, internet access, and educational resources for the completion of coursework, assignments, and other program-related activities. Access is subject to availability.
